biggest part of our economy and durable goods

durable goods orders are up primarily due to military expenditures

what will the economy do when those orders slack off

ok, move from iraq to afghanistan and keep those orders coming

oops, we are paying for those orders with money we do not have

how about this, bring the military home and set them to work on our infrastructure - like the romans did with the legions, when they were not needed for slaughter they build roads...

sad you only have a ged and don't understan 2% > recession.

imo, actually, it depends on who is keeping the statistics and facts

manipulate them enough and black looks white

the major portion of our 'expanding' economy is military spending, take out that factor and we entered a recession long ago
