Big trouble for Kiev

No problem. My point was that there is far more to Russia than the dumbasses on this forum will ever know. It's absent from their propaganda diet, you see.
Suffice to say that Kandinsky produced the first abstract painting and Gagarin was the first man in space.

Haw, haw.......................haw.

And... now I understand what you mean. Shades of Russophobia... yes, it's mainstream today.
Times are not easy and I risk assuming that it will get worse... and the Russians will become the new Jews, a nation guilty of all the troubles of the higher nations... actually, I can already see how they call us orcs, horde, Russia is called Mordor, barbarians, inhumans, untermensch will be made of us... it's not the first time this has happened.

Because it's obvious. With all of the problems in Russia right now, you have nothing better to do than to post on some tiny message board? Or do you work on a troll farm?

I see you backed down from your claim that you know more than I do about Putin. You should be working to get rid of him before it's too late.
Has anyone ever told you that you are monstrously stuffy?
I'm sorry, but I'm not interested in talking to a person who is endlessly rude, trying to discuss me, fantasizing about something... be an adult.
Seriously, if you continue like this, I won't talk to you.

I have absolutely no problem with the Russian people, it’s your leadership that is cruel and corrupt. I don’t have problem with most people, all of us want the same basic things, it’s our governments that fail us. I have not supported a lot of my governments campaigns, but I am at least free to criticize them peacefully, without being jailed.

True about all people.

I have dear friends who fled Ukraine in the seventies. They spent summers right next door to me for decades.

For many years, they would spit when they said Putin's name.

More than a decade ago, they were telling me that he's the richest man in the world.

Now I know they're right. He stole everything he could when the USSR collapsed.

It’s what I have heard from my friends as well, they have no love of Putin, they are still careful about what they say though because they have family in Russia.

Yes- capitalism must have an ogre to scare its milch cows with.

You are absolutely right, these are my leaderships... as you have your own.

PS: when will these questions from the forum engine end? I have no idea who was the 4th president...

You're getting questions from the... forum engine? @Phantasmal, do you know what he's referring to?

I've been using that term since the Maidan. Yes on DP (another message board) the common term is orcs

he still thinks 'Russian bankers' control Trump.
At one time he was sane, but he fell ill to Russiaphobia . he's vindictive and childish -yes

of all weird things general Milley is now calling for peace talks

Biden admin divided over path ahead for Ukraine as top US general Milley pushes for diplomacy
https://www.cnn.com/2022/11/11/poli...ations-biden-administration-debate/index.html

During internal conversations about the war in Ukraine, America’s top general, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley, has in recent weeks led a strong push to seek a diplomatic solution as fighting heads toward a winter lull.

But Milley’s position is not widely backed by President Joe Biden’s national security team, including Secretary of State Antony Blinken and national security adviser Jake Sullivan, neither of whom believe it’s time to make a serious push for talks over Ukraine, according to two administration officials familiar with the discussion.

The result is a growing debate inside the administration over whether Ukraine’s recent gains on the battlefield should spark a renewed effort to seek some sort of negotiated end to the fighting, according to officials.

Milley’s push for peace has spilled into the public in recent days, just as Ukraine takes back the city of Kherson. In comments at the Economic Club of New York on Wednesday, Milley praised the Ukrainian army for fighting Russia to a stalemate, but said that an outright military victory is out of reach.

Blinded by the propaganda of its military/industrial complex the West forgets- or disregards- the fact that Russia is a nuclear power with more weapons than anybody else.
The Russians have been quite clear in that they would use them should Russia be threatened.
It is the same ' Sampson Option ' that Israel threatens the world with - nuclear war to counter any existential threat.

The US praises Israel for its resolve.

The world experiences the stench of hypocrisy.

i doubt nukes are used, but we sure as hell dont help matters by disparaging peace talks

I simply do not understand why people do not believe the Russian when they state, unambiguously, that they WILL use nuclear weapons if faced with an existential threat. Is everybody fucking DEAF ? It's what they're FOR.

it depends on the meaning of "existential threat"
do the 4 Oblasts recognized as Russian now equate to an attack on Russia?
How about Nordstream or the Kerch Strait bridge sabotage?

and what does Putin target if he uses a nuke?

I think that the pipeline is jointly-owned. Not sure, but no- it's not an existential factor. Not for Russia anyway.
The bridge saboteurs have not yet been identified . Again, not an existential factor.
Russian ownership of the Oblasts isn't yet bedded in- but losing control of them would offer an existential threat, yes.

I don't know the first thing about choosing nuclear targets.

Putin has made clear that any threat to his leadership of Russia, or life would end in nuclear war... The problem is he is a mortal. He will die one day, and no longer be leader of Russia. It is important that he be taken out quickly, so he does not have time to pull the trigger on that threat.

Gazprom is the largest share holder

Putin says it was "Ukrainian secret services" ( Ukraine’s SBU intelligence services).

Obviously even if it was them the USA is complicit as we are intelligence partners for Ukraine
There was also "British Spies".. it smells to high heaven that the USA and UK were complicit

Britain’s evident interest in planning such an attack underscores the deep involvement of NATO powers in the Ukraine proxy war. At almost precisely the time that London reportedly sabotaged peace talks between Kiev and Moscow in April this year, British military intelligence operatives were drawing up blueprints to destroy a major Russian bridge crossed by thousands of civilians per day.

so what would nukes accomplish in terms of holding the oblasts?

I don't know the first thing about choosing nuclear targets.

I dont follow the war all that much -im interested in getting a peace process going
But a tactical nuke would be for the battlefield -just where i have no idea either
