Big night for Democrats!

I know right.

It is why it is laughable that so many Trump Derp are so excited by any polling at this point that shows Trump is leading Biden.

At this point Obama was going to lose his second term handily too.

I would add that this election is unique. When it comes to kitchen table issues, Democrats are wiping the floor with Republicans, and that trend continued last night. The presidential election is unique, because one of the candidates is a traitor and a spy. Even if they don't like the other guy, most people will vote for him, because Hitler is his opponent. There is a year to make sure the message is received. Biden will win. I'm not really all that concerned. I think the focus on down ballot races is the key, and Democrats are absolutely destroying Republicans in every down ballot election and referendum that appears on the those ballots. It's embarrassing, but they aren't catching on.

My finances are doing great. I'm into year 9 of my retirement and living large and loving it. I'm sick of hearing all this whining about the economy. People need to stop whining and blaming the government and expecting the government to provide for them. Get off your ass and deal with it.

Yep. I'm on year three. I make more now and pay less than I did when I was working. A lot more, and a lot less. Living large.

Exactly, you can watch any football game on Sunday, a Taylor Swift concert, or NASCAR race and the stands are full, and those events aren’t cheap. Guarantee if you were to stick a microphone in front of them as they exited and ask what they think of the economy they’d say it sucked

Here's what I always find interesting. For starters I can't claim to follow Kentucky politics closely but my understanding is while Kentucky is generally a pretty red state this Democratic Governor was pretty popular and it showed by him winning re-election. Kentucky is also a state that Trump won by 26%. So there was very likely a good number of people who both voted for Trump and this Democratic Governor.

A board like this tends to be dominated by people who are basically straight party line voters in every election. So while it may seem foreign to us there are obviously people across the country who vote for members of both parties. (I almost wish we had those type of people here just to hear their thought process)

You got one here. I'm a registered Independent.
I've probably voted Republican 70% of the time in my voting life but lately, with the Republiclowns sucking up to Trump, I'll be voting for everyone with a (D) after their name.

I like that the ones who grow up on the right, are the ones now leading the republi'can' party, like Greene and Boebert and you, and we can see how smart they are and how they are leading the party to continued successes.

laughs that the monkey thinks he can see.....

Indeed..

so if all is well why are so many people struggling...now...? Why is everyone telling Joe it's time to go... they're terrified every time he opens his mouth...

Are you speaking to the worldwide challenges of Inflation?

Because in most other metrics outside that America is doing extremely well, and for inflation specifically America is managing it better than almost any other nation.

The people who want both Joe and Trump to go, because they are too old, and they want to see some generational change, are entitled to that view. Add to that the ones who want Trump gone as he was a terrible leader, and is a criminal, and they too have that right.

Seems like the party not in power always whines about the economy and tries to paint a dreary picture of the economy going forward. I never fall for it.
The economy is a roller-coaster that the average American doesn't understand. That's why there's so many lies about its performance.
I never listen to what the party out-of-power says about the economy because it's usually bullshit.

Biden has been a terrible leader
...how long do you think it will be before he steps aside?

And Americans in vast numbers don’t agree with you asshole

I am willing to concede that vast numbers of Americans take pleasure in killing their unborn children. However, I think the question of which of us are assholes as a result, remains open......

add to that, that it is ALWAYS a focus on the incumbent, until after the Primaries on the other side are done and there is a new leader and a campaign highlighting who that person is, begins.

That is why Obama was behind his 'theoretical opponents' this far out before his second term.

Once Trump IS the candidate, people will again have to consider how shit his prior rule was, and all his criminal activity that he is going to be convicted for.

as long as Biden is your candidate it won't matter who we run......

Yes as Trump loss, after Trump loss, along with his endorsements such as in the AZ Senate race, and other republi'can' strongholds continue to chock the country at how good at losing they are... while you tell yourself it won't matter and does not matter.

You are why losers lose and cannot see their way out of losing. I genuinely hope more republi'cans' continue to think as you do.

No... is anyone encouraging Joe to run again? Besides Kamala saying he's alive no one wants him to run again he's already done too much damage...

Like I said, you're probably hearing that on right wing media sources. I'm not hearing people say they don't want President Biden to run again. I'm hearing a lot of positive things about him running. What damage has he done?

And what do you think of Trump's 4 indictments and over 90 charges? Do you think they're legitimate or all fake?

He has been a great leader both in cleaning up the disaster Trump handed to him, and in re-investing in America, setting the stage for long term prosperity.

You only need to go to any of the ground breakings for his various infrastructure projects and see how many Republi'can' politicians, that voted against them, show up to try and take credit for them while praising what they will do for the region.

Personally I think he steps down, if Trump does not run. But if Trump runs he will stick around to embarrass him again.

Would hope you are correct, but I wouldn’t count on it, Biden’s age and capability will become a factor, not that people will vote against him, but the enthusiasm will be low, and many won’t show up

Keep in mind, a third of the country will vote for Trump regardless of what he has done or will do, as will the remainder of the GOP. The nonpartisan Independent voter may see it and Trump differently than we do

Brandon will NOT be the democrat nominee for President in 2024
