What is the energy price cap and what will happen to bills?
Help with energy costs will be less generous from April, with bills for a typical household going up to £3,000.
Previously, the energy regulatgor Ofgem set the maximum suppliers could charge households per unit of energy.
But after prices soared in the wake of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the government announced its price guarantee would replace this energy cap.

Most Brits don't know, nor care, where Ukraine is . Small wonder that Klepto Joe blew up the Nord Stream pipelines to prevent Europeans from reaching a deal with the Russians.
Biden's war has caused chronic inflation in the UK which has led to massive worker walk-outs as they demand more pay in order to cope. The list of striking workers is long and it includes the UK national health services, nurses, doctors and ambulance drivers. Brits are dying from lack of medical care and heating/cooking fuel deprivation and their government refuses to increase wages. 100,000 government employees are due to join the strikes on February 1st.
This insane government intransigence includes legislation intended to make strikes illegal, a brain-dead policy which will surely end with riots and blood the streets . It follows from the jaw-dropping corruption of the Boris Johnson government and the almost unbelievable stupidity of the Thick Lizzie Truss government which followed him.
While its people freeze, starve and plead for more pay the current government sends millions of dollars worth of armaments and cash to Ukraine to prop up Biden's Nord Stream war. It cannot continue. Sooner or later Brits will realize how stupid this war was with only American commercial interests as the beneficiaries. Their tame media is managing to withhold the truth - but cracks are appearing in the mainstream Sky services.
This all bodes success for Russia's waiting game.
