Biden wants to require annual clot shots

So, no concern about the purpose of Bourla's visit?

The incidence is approximately 1 in 50,000 and that is with the J&J and the Astra-Zeneca vaccines. The AZ one was never approved in the U.S. Some patients have the same reaction to heparin.

As a former medical professional, I'm surprised you do not find these "vaccines" concerning.

The myocarditis, clots, other adverse events not being reported or attributed to "coincidence". Young, fit, world class athletes dropping dead from heart attacks and getting myocarditis.

Sorry but I've been around long enough to have acquired a small amount of wisdom. I've learned it is always a red flag when anyone tries to force someone into a hasty decision. There is something very, very off about all of this. That is my gut feeling and it has never failed me.

Of course it won't change. You refuse to consider the probability that you are wrong about the vaccines. You only peruse "facts" that confirm your bias. It's your life, your body, so you do you as you like to say. Just don't spread your misinformation and fear-mongering to others. You might cost them their lives.

Irony abounds.

Again, I don't care what "others" are doing -- only me.

Live and let live is my manta. If you want 10 shots get them and I'm good with it. That's the attitude you should adopt. Anyone not taking a shot is only a risk to themselves. You are just as big a risk for contracting and transmitting Covid as a non-vaccinated person. That is a fact and one for which you have an immense aversion.

Then why are you lying about what a horrible danger the vaccines are allegedly, and lying about a "mandate" to get them? You want others to sign on to your cuckooworld beliefs, don't you? Otherwise you really would do you and leave us out of it.

I am absolutely at much less risk than an unvaxxed person at getting COVID. I am also far less likely to be hospitalized or to die if I do. BTW, I tested positive for it late last month. Thanks to my vaccines and booster, it was no worse than a bad cold and certainly not as bad as some influenzas I've experienced. Unvaxxed people my age have had lots worse outcomes -- like death.

Hospitals are pretty empty here, what's the deal?

Where are these filled-to-the-brim hospitals full of Covid victims?

It's obvious that Covid vaccines don't work like the ones do for the diseases you listed.

MMR vaccines work, Covid shots don't.

I never had measles, but if I did, I would go get a shingles vaccine. I hear that stuff's painful.

Like painful scabs. I can give myself enough of that via road rash without some disease.

No one who has had their vaccinations has died from Covid. Almost a million people who have not been vaccinated have died.

Lying? I said I don't know what the long term effects are and I don't. Guess what? Neither do you. I hope I am wrong. No one will know for sure until a considerable amount of time passes. That is why I am erring on the side of caution.

Exactly -- the vaccine protects you, so therefore it is your choice, and having it protects you only.

Stop pushing the ruse you having a vaccine makes you a "safer" person to be around other people and pretending only unvaccinated people transmit it because that's bull.

Covid is pretty much gone at this point. It was always going to happen it was just a matter of "when."

A Story for Every Occasion™.

I don't believe you, Fuck Face, so there's that.

Covid is pretty much gone at this point. It was always going to happen it was just a matter of "when."

Here comes a new variant.

"The BA.2 virus -- a subvariant of the Omicron coronavirus variant -- isn't just spreading faster than its distant cousin, it may also cause more severe disease and appears capable of thwarting some of the key weapons we have against Covid-19, new research suggests.

"New lab experiments from Japan show that BA.2 may have features that make it as capable of causing serious illness as older variants of Covid-19, including Delta.

"And like Omicron, it appears to largely escape the immunity created by vaccines. A booster shot restores protection, making illness after infection about 74% less likely.

"BA.2 is also resistant to some treatments, including sotrovimab, the monoclonal antibody that's currently being used against Omicron."

Who cares? I am so thankful for the vaccine, and I get a flu shot every year. I have no problem adding a yearly covid vaccine on. People are so strange. I often wonder, do these same people never exercise? Do they smoke? Like do they have any care for their personal health whatsoever? Yearly checkup, yearly mammogram, yearly bloodwork, exercise, ...it's literally the least you can do for yourself. I mean, you may die early anyway, you can still get cancer or walk into the wrong bank at the wrong time, but why not pad your odds a bit? So stupid. I can't even talk to these people, I just shrug.

Yet, we've had all the holidays, ball games, Super bowl and cases are dropping. If the current trends continue, this thing is all but over. Think about how Omicron swept thru the population, if it offers any immunity at all, there will be not many hosts available for the virus to spread anyway. Common sense there.

Mixed real-world data on subvariant's severity

BA.2 is about 30% to 50% more contagious than Omicron. It has been detected in 74 countries and 47 US states.
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that about 4% of Americans with Covid-19 now have infections caused by BA.2, but many other parts of the world have more experience with this variant. It has become dominant in at least 10 other countries: Bangladesh, Brunei, China, Denmark, Guam, India, Montenegro, Nepal, Pakistan and the Philippines, according to World Health Organization's weekly epidemiological report.
But, there's mixed evidence on the severity of BA.2 in the real world. Hospitalizations continue to decline in countries where BA.2 has gained a foothold, like South Africa and the UK. But in Denmark, where BA.2 has become the leading cause of infections, hospitalizations and deaths are rising, according to WHO.
