on march 11, 2020, about a month AFTER trump had been briefed on how dangerously infectious and lethal covid was, and who reacted by lying about it, saying it was just the flu, no big deal, we had it under control, it would be gone by Easter, just a democratic hoax to try and hurt "his economy," there had been 22 deaths from covid in this country. if trump had taken it seriously when he first knew about it, had done what any other president, even a republican one, with any sense would have done to act fast and limit the spread by any means necessary, and to do what he eventually did to use federal funding to speed up the vaccine process, we never would have had to shut down our economy, and we never would have had more than acceptable deaths from covid due to such fast action based on science and facts.
that is why so many deaths are on trump's hands, and why not on biden's. he was handed this mess and has done an admirable job of getting us on the right track.
