quite funny given that Obama dragged out the whole birth certificate issue for years rather than simply releasing the damn thing.
Apparently Biden is too ignorant to realize that birth certificate/proof of citizenship is not the same as years of tax returns.
That said, Romney will have to release more of his tax returns or it will bite him.

Did he? I thought he had released it early on but they wouldn't accept it because first it was forged, then there was no such thing as a long form...aren't some of them still looking for the "real" birth certificate?
However, having lived through the 90's, as I always say, I never paid attention to his birth certificate because I immediately knew it was right wing venom machine nonsense. So I will defer to your greater knowledge of the crazytrain timeline.
Obama did release the damn thing. Pretty much right away in fact.

He could have put the issue to bed long before he finally did .. and we can all speculate why he waited until he did, but the evidence that he purposefully and intentionally played the issue is pretty conclusive.
In June of 2008 he released a copy of his birth certificate supplied to his campaign by the state of Hawaii. That should have put it to rest. It's not Obama's fault it didn't.

Not at all. I think it is foolish of him to hide it as it only furthers the likelihood that he did not report the accounts as he was supposed to. I am all for transparency... (that is that thing Obama proclaimed he would be, but failed to deliver on)

I have thought about it on that very basis .. but he's the President of the United States. Hardly the place to engage that issue they way he did .. and that defiance is not evident in anything else he says and does. He RUNS away from black people and our issues. Georga Bush had a more diverse adminstration.
