Biden: The GOP can Absolutely Beat Us

He's just stating the truth. They are beatable. That doesn't mean the Republicans will win of course but for him to publically claim the Republicans have no chance would be foolish. I don't see anything wrong with what he said.

him and obama are trying very hard to paint themselves as the underdogs, blaming the economy on themselves, now saying they are beatable. more than just once, it appears to be a strategy. though, obama hasn't actually taken responsibility for the economy yet....
 
A lot of Obama's success was the result of Democratic enthusiasm after the debacle of the Bush years. Since Obama has little by way of positive agenda to run on (the left wing isn't exactly thrilled with the Affordable Care Act, as much as you might think otherwise), scaring the shit out of the base by highlighting the fact that the GOP might win is the only real way to get that enthusiasm back.

Id say it would be arrogant to say otherwise, this ODS is really bad..... its spreading to BDS.

Campaigns lower expectations religiously. It's most notable before debates, but applies in other areas, as well.

And you seem to agree, since you agreed w/ DSH's assessment. What is that, if not an expectation?

Republicans are almost certainly going to win the house, they're favored to win the senate, and even Obama's once seemingly invincible position now seems to be slipping daily. I would be surprised if you could look at the election in 2012 and not call it a Republican victory.
 
Biden is a moron. I personaly think he is the VP so we wouldnt impeech obama for what ever reason. and no i am not saying we should impeech obama.
