Biden didn't "abandon" anyone.

Since April, they've been letting Americans know that they'd be evacuating. Some chose not too. A leader has to make decisions about how long to keep troops in harm's way.

It's never cut & dry. If someone wants to make a blanket statement like "troops should have been there until every single American got out," then you have to be prepared to deal w/ the consequences. No criticizing when the brave men & women in our military suffer casualties from suicide bombings & the rest because they were kept in a hostile place too long.

Leaders have to make hard calls. Period.

If you want to criticize, I'd love to hear your plan. For starters, how many soldiers would you have kept in Afghanistan, and how long would you have kept them there? Specifics, please.
