President Biden’s fiery speech in Philadelphia denouncing former President Donald Trump and what he described as “extreme MAGA ideology” has sparked online calls for violence, including death threats against the president, according to documents obtained by Yahoo News.

By Friday afternoon, posts on forums popular among white supremacists and far-right extremists called for the assassination of Biden, and named Jewish administration officials including Attorney General Merrick Garland, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas as potential targets. Declarations of civil war were also appearing, according to documents detailing some of the threats.

Site Intelligence Group, which tracks online extremism activity, issued several threat alerts detailing calls for violence in response to Biden’s speech. The potential threats were posted in online forums tied to the Proud Boys, neo-Nazis and other extremist groups.

“Users on several far-right and ultranationalist venues made violent threats against President Joe Biden following his speech addressing political extremism on September 1, 2022,” said one of the alerts. “Users advocated for Biden to be murdered and predicted violence if he continues speaking about the topic.”

Here, let me reprint my answer to his speech:

Okay, I read through Biden's speech. What it amounts to in a sentence is You are either with us, or against us. It is probably the most divisive speech by a President in modern history.

Biden repeatedly says, in one form or another, that "MAGA Republicans are the threat." He tries to delineate these from other Republicans by saying in various slanted ways that those that aren't a threat are the RINO's and others that more or less accede to the Left and vote with them. That is, Republicans that go along with the Democrat party / Left, like Cheney, McConnell, Romney, Kinzinger, or Graham, are just fine. They go with what the Left wants in the end so they're no threat.

The ones Biden is railing and ranting against are those opposed to what the Left wants. That's probably best summed up in this paragraph from his speech:

MAGA forces are determined to take this country backwards-- backwards to an America where there is no right to choose, no right to privacy, no right to contraception, no right to marry who you love.

That is to say, in Biden's world "MAGA forces" are opposed to the Leftist agenda and that makes them evil enemies of the state.

When Biden says this is a "threat to democracy," what he means is it is a threat to the Leftist agenda and that has to end by any means possible. He even says so:

And, folks, it is within our power, it's in our hands-- yours and mine-- to stop the assault on American democracy.
What he's really saying is that those who won't go along with the Left's agenda are a threat to the Left and have to be eliminated so the Left can have their way unfettered by democracy.

His only example of this outside the one I gave above, is Jan 6. That's become the Holy Relic of the radical Left to bash half of America's population with.

The greatest hypocrisy in the whole speech comes when Biden says this:

On top of that, there are public figures-- today, yesterday, and the day before-- predicting and all but calling for mass violence and rioting in the streets.

Yea, like the likes of The Squad--AOC et al., Maxine Waters, Chuck Schumer, and Adam Schiff as but a small sampling of the radical Leftists within the Democrat party that have repeatedly and openly called for violence against their political opponents. Toss in his VP who contributed to a fund to get violent, radical Leftist, rioters out of jail so they could continue their violence in the streets.

Most of the rest of the speech is empty platitudes, rhetoric, and drivel. The heart of it is that the radical Left is incensed that there is opposition to their political goals and remaining in power and that these must be crushed by any means necessary.
