Biden says Americans should stop targeting teachers, banning books

WASHINGTON, April 27 (Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden said American teachers are being unfairly targeted in "the culture wars," and warned against book banning in an event at the White House Wednesday.

"American teachers have dedicated their lives to teaching our children and lifting them up," Biden said to murmurs of agreement from the teachers. "We’ve got to stop making them the target of the culture wars. That’s where this is going.”

Remember the McCauliffe debacle. Remember when Biden ordered AG Garland to investigate irate parents at school boards as domestic terrorists? And there's been the COVID fiasco, or Faucico, where school children have been tortured by the government and the teachers' unions,


Democrats are so busy trying to convince blacks they're victims of white supremacy and gays that they've victims of Americans that they're ignoring one of the biggest blocs in identity politics: parents and grandparents. Do you think in November the grandparents will forget when the government wouldn't allow them to see their grandchildren? Do you think parents will forget being told to sign agreements to not watch the video classroom with their kids. Now we know why, don't we? "Forget your parents, I'm your parent now," doesn't play well with real parents.
