Massachusetts called in the National Guard on Friday to deal with the “humanitarian crisis” that locals claim was set off by just 50 migrants being flown to Martha’s Vineyard by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis — before the deep-blue state shifted the new arrivals to Cape Cod.

Three buses rolled up to St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Edgartown to take the mostly Venezuelan migrants on the first leg of their journey from the elite island of multimillion-dollar mansions — including a seven-bedroom home owned by former President Barack Obama — to Joint Base Cape Cod on the mainland.

The National Guard members will supplement work already underway by the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency, Gov. Charlie Baker’s office said in a statement.

“Our Administration has been working across state government to develop a plan to ensure these individuals will have access to the services they need going forward, and Joint Base Cape Cod is well equipped to serve these needs,” the governor said.

He starts out with a proposition, that a nation of 330 million can absorb 2 million new immigrants. The fallacy here is this is a non sequitur. Can a nation of 330 million absorb 2 million new immigrants? Maybe, maybe not. Certainly, that will have some impact on the nation.

He also leaves out other conditions.

If these immigrants are largely unemployable, cannot speak the language, are illiterate, have health, mental, and criminal issues, etc.., are they worth taking to begin with? Obviously right now with how Joke is running things, the border is wide open and most, if not close to all, of the illegals and such coming in are in this category.

Never in US history where immigration was in some way controlled, did the US allow or encourage people who were in those categories to immigrate here. The famous Ellis Island immigration station made checks on those entering. Known criminals were denied entry. Anyone with contagious diseases, or serious health issues was turned away. Being unemployable, not having anyone to vouch for you in the US, or not having obtained a previous commitment from an employer meant you were very likely to be denied entry too.

Yet, that is exactly what Joke is doing now. He is his usual lying sack of shit self on this issue just as he is on virtually everything else.
