that our nation can no longer be repaired under either capitalism or democracy, never mind both.

Our only hope now is a great, Mao-like leader to simply straighten things out by whatever means are required,
even if they're Draconian in nature.

Once all of the MAGA insurrections have been rounded up and neutralized by whatever means required,
only them can we consider gradually evolving back toward some measure of democracy and some aspects of a private sector.

He eliminated the enemies of the people who were curtailing progress
and a great nation emerged from the ashes.

That's what AOC could do for us now if we give her the chance.

The problem isn't regulation in itself, but rather over regulation. One form of over regulation that is manifesting itself today is that of zero tolerance. To use the EPA, their view of pollution isn't reasonable levels but rather that it ALL must be eliminated. That is, they are pushing for ZERO pollution, a complete fantasy in a modern industrialized world. Safety is another area that does the same thing. Their POV is You can't be too safe. Yes, you can be too safe, but they can't grasp that.

Such thinking cripples a nation and wrecks the economy.
 
Regulation is your protection against the crimes that corporations and wealthy people will commit if not stopped. They use all their lobbying power and TV time to tell us all how regulation is bad. The louder they are, the worse their crimes. Parroting the statements made by the perpetrators of crimes is not smart. Rightys have a problem throwing off disinformation and lies as Trump has taught us all.

It was all just word salad. There were no explanation of how every household is paying $9600 in Biden's Regulations.

Perhaps you should have posted the cliff notes of the Opinion Piece!

But all I read, was TRUMP IS WONDERFUL, and Biden IS BAD!

It even tries to say the Trump saved every household $11,000 by the regulations he cut, and then says that Biden's Regulations are costing every household $9600- without explaining how they came to either one of those figures.

Asshole Casey Mulligan was after-all Donald Trump's Chief Economic Advisor, so I looked at that as a man trying to toot his own horn. And now of course disgruntled because he got fired along with Donald Trump for poor performance. So, He was taking pot shots at Biden!
