President Joe Biden continues to hemorrhage political support among key demographics that went for him in 2020 and helped propel him to victory.
According to a new survey published at the weekend, Biden is now losing suburban moms as the shortage of baby formula spreads around the country, even as he was already in trouble with them over historic inflation that is producing record-high gas, food, and energy prices, the Washington Times:
Images of empty store shelves and stories of frantic parents searching for food to feed their infants, coupled with reports that the Biden administration is shipping pallets of scarce formula to the southern border to feed illegal immigrant children, now threaten to crater the party’s already weakened support among suburban women.

Babies aren’t the only ones impacted by the crippling formula crisis: Special needs kids – and their frantic parents – are also feeling the brunt.

As parents continue to trawl the bare aisles of New York stores, pharmacies are also struggling to make ends meet for the young children who have ongoing prescriptions for formula.

Roger Paganelli, the owner of the mom-and-pop Mount Carmel Pharmacy in the Bronx, told The Post he has “hundreds of patients” who are fed formula out of medical necessity – including kids who have tubes in their stomachs because they’re unable to ingest food.

“These are complex, special needs patients,” Paganelli said Thursday.

Some parents have regular, scheduled pickups for the prescription formula — but the pharmacy is now having to ration it out to make sure every child gets a portion.

“We’re trying to balance and ration as best as we can. It’s a very sensitive situation. These are hard decisions to make,” Paganelli said.

he is also responsible for setting the FBI on parents for going to school board meetings.

“Republicans have said that your administration should have anticipated this baby formula shortage,” CNN reporter Jeremy Diamond said at a Rose Garden event where Biden urged cities to spend COVID-19 stimulus funds on cops.

“Are you satisfied with your administration’s response so far?” Diamond asked. “And some of the steps that you and your administration are taking now, including loosening these import requirements next week — could you have taken those steps sooner, before parents got to these shelves and couldn’t find formula?”

Critics have hammered Biden’s response to acute shortages that mushroomed since a February recall and shutdown at an Abbott Nutrition factory in Michigan after two infant deaths were tentatively linked by the FDA to bacterial contamination of formula.
