Biden keeps repeating 2nd Amendment lie

Seems Joke just can't help himself...

Just yesterday, Joke repeated his "couldn't own a cannon..." lie for like the umpteenth time.

President Biden took another swipe at Second Amendment supporters Tuesday evening, reminding them that they would "need an F-16" to challenge the U.S. government.

Biden's remarks at a fundraising event in a private residence in California came as he discussed gun violence in America and stressed the notion that Americans do not need AR-15s.

"We have to change," Biden said. "There’s a lot of things we can change, because the American people by and large agree you don’t need a weapon of war. I’m a Second Amendment guy. I taught it for four years, six years in law school. And guess what? It doesn’t say that you can own any weapon you want. It says there are certain weapons that you just can’t own. Even during when it was passed, you couldn’t own a cannon. You can’t own a machine gun.… No, I’m serious."

Even though this has garnered him numerous slams for lying, he's still repeating this bullshit today--well, yesterday...

Biden is correct.

I guess some Americans never got the word...

Biden is a fucking liar.

Wait a minute, if it was said at a “private meeting,” how do you, or Fox for that matter, know what was said? And in what context?

How is it a “lie?” Most highly destructive weapons can’t be owned in the U.S. without heavy restriction

And if he did say it, so what, he’s not all wrong, if you are going to declare war on the Government you’ll need more than a semi automatic weapon to be successful

It's like the Nth time he's repeated this, and has in the past been heavily smacked down as a liar for it. You'd think he'd stop repeating the same anecdote after being told he was wrong and lying. But he continues to repeat the same bullshit...

Oh, you can own an F-16 too:

You’ve apparently never seen a zombie movie

They have no weapons

It’s about numbers

Title ll weapons aka NFA firearms, are designations of certain weapons under the United States National Firearms Act (NFA).

Title II of the Gun Control Act of 1968 is a revision of the National Firearms Act of 1934, and pertains to machine guns, short or "sawed-off" shotguns and rifles, and so-called "destructive devices" (including grenades, mortars, rocket launchers, large projectiles, and other heavy ordnance). Acquisition of these weapons is subject to prior approval of the Attorney General, and federal registration is required for possession. Generally, a $200 tax is imposed upon each transfer or making of any Title II weapon.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Title_II_weapons

In short, you have to have the government's permission to own destructive devices like cannons and other large bore, large projectile launching weapons.

People can nitpick over semantics all they want.

Biden keeps saying you cannot own a cannon, machinegun, etc. CANNOT. That is complete bullshit. You simply need a license to own them. Even old cannon--the muzzle loading black powder kind--can be owned without a license, and if manufactured before 1895 you don't even need a background check. Same goes for antique black powder firearms in general.

Wait a minute, you, via Fox, are saying he said it at a meeting, yet you, nor Fox, can prove he said it, and that doesn’t raise any questions in your mind regarding the validity of the narrative?

He is not all wrong, all highly destructive weapons in the US are heavily regulated, so much so that the overwhelming majority of all Americans are unable to posses one, and his reference to attacking the Government, one of the bogus justifications for owning one, is correct

And if he did say it, so what, he’s not all wrong, if you are going to declare war on the Government you’ll need more than a semi automatic weapon to be successful

again with the complete inability to formulate guerilla warfare and it's inevitable end............why do you even bother? you've been proven wrong too many times for you not to understand

He's said the same thing--almost to the exact word--on several occasions previously and publicly.

Well then I’d recommend you mount M50 machine guns on your porches and plant Claymore mines around your house and see what your local authority if not neighbors have to say about it

“Almost,” and third time, he is correct, the average American can’t own a highly destructive weapon, legally he might, but in reality, which is what matters, he’d have a better chance being struck by lightning

You still cannot just go out and buy one and the constitution does not guarantee any right to.

I'm fairly certain those permits are not just handed out to everyone who applies, either.

Like I said.... nitpick over semantics all you want.
