I have said clearly and consistently that i understand people will make a choice to hold to some moral structure they believe in, even if it means they, their friends and family and community will all die. As their head is cut off and before their family is slaughtered they will say to themselves 'at least i kept to my morals'.

I also say, that is not me. I would do what what i deemed necessary when faced with an aggressive threat that was trying to kill me and my family.

People like you, such as the buddhist who will not use any violence to even stop a child being killed, are ideologues that while i understand and respect their decision, is not the path i choose. If i can step in and save the child with violence, i am ok breaking from my morals in that extraordinary situation i have been put in.

You are what is called an absolutist. People like you who put the 'holding to a moral' even over the greater good of 'saving the child'. I am not like you.

I love how you complain about lies while non stop lying. My view was set long before GoT on that. I have always believed rigidly clinging to moral absolutes regardless of circumstance is foolish.

I can respect a buddhist who takes a vow of non violence but i am not standing and watching my kids get killed when i could stop it, just so i can live to my morals and vow. I will break that vow to save my kids and deal with the consequences of breaking the vow. I am ok with that.

You don't have to be ok with that, and can think you are on some moral high ground as you would sit and watch your kids die while taking pride in 'sticking to your morals'. I get you abd people like you are like that and i am fine with us disagreeing but i will always reject you trying to tell me i have to be like you or you acting superior if i refuse to.

What is "right?" To you is it what ever serves the party. You'll say or post anything that serves your party.
