Last nights performance doesn't definitely prove he doesn't have dementia. Anyone who knows anything about the disease or has dealt with anyone who has had it knows that it is a constellation of symptoms characterized by ups and downs. Good days and bad days.

I saw the debate last night, nobody with dementia could do that.

Sorry its a pittafull lie for a President who is losing reelection. It was made up shit. Notice Trump* does not even claim it anymore.

Trump bullied Wallace too. He talked over Biden and Wallace. Trump is a rule-breaker, that includes norms like manners and accepted rules. They do not apply to him. I have never seen a ruder person in public.

I think Wallace tried hard to keep things under control, but mostly he was trying to break up a verbal fistfight. The only moderator and group I'd ban from these debates is Candy Crowley and CNN. Her performance in the Romney - Obama debate was execrable.

with enough adderall, someone with dementia could get through that event

based on what I have seen over the last five months, Biden is experiencing some sort of mental incapacity. The fact that you are trying to distill it down to one night and are ignoring everything else proves what a hack you are

Face it - the months of "dementia Joe!" backfired. As did the months of many on the right saying he'd never debate Trump.

He showed up, and did well. He certainly wasn't great, but he was fine, like he always is in debates. Especially with Trump cutting off every sentence that he started.

Wallace was clearly shilling for Biden

He interrupted Trump numerous times and not when Trump was interrupting Biden. Did Trump get frustrated and interrupt? He sure did, but the guy doesn't fuck around. He is fighting for the direction of this country against an empty suit with dementia who is being propped up by the media unlike any other candidate in history.

But somebody with early onset Alzheimer's could. Biden recited almost random talking points right from the start. The first question Wallace asked him got a response that was both canned and had zero to do with the question. It was almost as if Biden had been practiced to give that answer to any question he was asked.
While it's clear Biden doesn't have dementia, it's equally clear that he is not fully in control of his faculties anymore. Old and slow might be a good way to put it.

Both candidates lied and did so repeatedly. Biden told several whoppers although I can guess that was as much out of sheer incompetence as anything else.

That's certainly interesting spin. Trump was unhinged & off the rails. If Biden acted like that, you would all be saying he had an extended senior moment.

The Trump campaign agreed to the debate rules. Trump tried to get the last word on every topic - that is not allowed under the rules, and gives one candidate an unfair advantage if the moderator doesn't try to control it. That's why Wallace interrupted - not because he was "shilling for Biden."
