Rule #1: Avoid catastrophic failure.

Trump is fantastic at these sorts of things, there is too much of a chance that Trump will reduce Biden to a blubbering mess, therefor the debates cant happen.

Moderating....these things have not been remotely debates in a long time.....but Biden is so far gone that they cant have any interaction between Biden and Trump on the stage....Biden can give a bad performance but his brain is too dead to deal with Trump in real time.

That is the problem....once the American people cant pretend otherwise can they still vote for him as President....Is America really that much of a clown county now....and what does it mean that the DNC said that Biden was the one?

It should have been Brit Hume, He earned it. He is the King of Fox as far as I am concerned.
 
I'm not sure it's decided when or where yet, but I do believe they will debate.

Looking forward to Biden just stating true facts, WHILE WATCHING DONALD WHO HAS NOTHING NEGATIVE ON BIDEN SO HE JUST MAKES UP LIES AND FAKE NEWS ABOUT HIM.

The public already knows this, so all Donald Trump can do now is prove on stage what a lying, racist, irresponsible fool he is to everybody live and on TV.

I until recently had not watched anyone in about 15 years, but I used to be a cable news junkie....I always thought Brit Hume wanted to be Tim Russert but that he lacked the warmth. Tucker has him on sometimes, its not so much that he is wrong it is that everything he says is obvious, and it takes him too long to get anywhere, so what is the point....

There is zero chance Wallace would be fair if the debate actually happened.

The commission clearly wants general-election moderators to avoid confrontations with the candidates, and Lehrer and Schieffer have both said their advice is to leave most of the fact-checking duties to the nominees. Wallace appears to be on board with a more hands-off approach.

"I do not believe it is my job to be a truth squad," he told Fox News colleague Howard Kurtz in September.

If the debate actually happens, it will be more rigged than just having commie Wallace trying to hurt Trump.
 
Rightys have their own reality. Biden agreed to the debates a long time ago. Trump still has not. Even rightys should be able to understand that. Trump is bomb throwing because Hillary kicked his ass 4 years ago and he has not gotten any smarter. Biden is not involved in the moderators. Trump wants to be. The first one is a Fox employee. Should be good for triump. Wallace will be tough on both of them.. Biden will face it. Trump thinks asking him tough questions is cheating. He will bleat about him until the debate.

Trump kicked Hillary's ass 306 to 232, with the kind of votes that they campaigned for, and the kind of votes that determine who sits in the oval.

Try and follow. this thread is about the debates. The election however was extremely close and Russia won it for him.
