Trump avoids real discussions like it is the plague. How was Trump at the yearly press conferences? Oh, I forgot, he stopped those. That is the closest facsimile to a debate. Answering press questions in your face. Trump failed miserably and stopped them. Trump was going to skip the debates crying about how he does not get fair treatment. But now he needs a big debate break to move up. That is the only reason he is coming off the golf course.

Biden has done 11 debates this campaign season. trump has done none. Biden has done well in all his over 200 career debates, trump has never done well.
But go ahead and lower expectations for Biden. If you believe trump's ads, if Biden is able to make a sentence, he has exceeded expectations, and will be declared the winner. There is a reason that candidates are always trying to lower expectations in front of a debate, and trump is going to learn that reason the hard way.

Too late, he has already had 11 debates, and over a hundred town hall meetings. I wish you had told the Biden Campaign that they cannot have those, before they did. Now it is simply too late. I think that if one of the two candidates does not show up for the debate, the other candidate should be given all the air time for free to do whatever he wants. How do you feel about that?
