Tesla produces electric vehicles. My neighbor has a Tesla, actually. The thing is pretty neat. He has a charger that he plugs it into every night. Fully charged, it gets about 180 miles.

This is definitely the technology of the future. As it improves and becomes cheaper, it will push gasoline vehicles to the side.
