I have to say one last thing to you. It is clear to me now that you have totally jumped down the internet rabbit hole and have immersed yourself in all things politic. You now see EVERYTHING thru the lens of politics. My bet is you spend 8-10 hours a day online........deeper and deeper into the abyss until you literally know NOTHING ELSE. You cant do that. It is horrible for your mental and spiritual state. Unplug NOW. Seriously.

Well it was done over time. The Christian church in Rome wanted to distance themselves from the Jews. Pagans saw Christians as just a sect of Jews. After the Jews revolted against Rome the Romans persecuted them and the Christians alike. So the Christian church in Rome started worshiping on the first day of the week to distance themselves from the Jews. As the church in Rome got political power they exerted pressure on other churches to observe Sunday instead of the Sabbath. In the 321 Constantine made a law directing people to worship on the 1st day of the week.

My oldest brother is a 7th day adventist. I am not. But could be in the future,...who knows. I am just a plain old non denominational Christian. I do however tend to believe that the actual sabbath is Saturday. I " think" my brothers family observes it from sundown Friday until Sundown Saturday,....but I could be wrong. They also have preparation day where they get all work done so there is no work on the sabbath although I am unsure if they do that on thursday or on Friday before sundown. I THINK its Friday.
 
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures - 1 Corinthians 15:4.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday - what’s the problem? The ancients didn’t start counting at 0. They didn’t have 0.

You are correct Friday is the preparation day. Its interesting that Christ was crucified on Friday and rested in the grave the entire Sabbath the rose early on Sunday.


Question do you believe that Israel is another name for Christ in the Bible.
