I'd rather abolish Dept of Education as a cabinet level position..stick it as an Office in the Interior Dept.
Get the feds out of education -except for maybe some block grants to poorer states

what does DoE do that the states can't do alone? Common core? what exactly?

I'm all for block grants to poorer states -other then that DoE (cabinet level) wasn't established until the Carter administration-
put it back as an Office of the Interior Dept.

"Selling household products door to door..." That would be Amway, which is recognized as a pyramid scheme. How apt that trump picked her and she accepted.

Another grifter who got sued and had to settle for millions. "Amway agreed to pay $55 million to former distributors..."
 
nope . charter schools are islamic in nature. ... :"madrassas". schools should be controlled not. leave education to a county by county responsibility . counties should deny federal money and negative influences thereof. I reckon that the county by county "powers that be" will need to be rooted out.

sixteen million distributors worldwide......over $10 billion in sales annually....in business for over fifty years......ah yes, certainly nothing more than scam waiting to be uncovered......

Country did just fine for 200 years without a Dept of Education. Seems very Soviet Union like wanting everyone "standardized" as if some entity knows what is best for EVERYONE.

I know you can't get by without your betters telling you what to do, but lots of us can
