Benedict Donald #1 traitor to America

Rune is paraphrasing Edmund Burke.

"Whilst men are linked together, they easily and speedily communicate the alarm of any evil design. They are enabled to fathom it with common counsel, and to oppose it with united strength. Whereas, when they lie dispersed, without concert, order, or discipline, communication is uncertain, counsel difficult, and resistance impracticable. Where men are not acquainted with each other’s principles, nor experienced in each other’s talents, nor at all practised in their mutual habitudes and dispositions by joint efforts in business; no personal confidence, no friendship, no common interest, subsisting among them; it is evidently impossible that they can act a public part with uniformity, perseverance, or efficacy. In a connection, the most inconsiderable man, by adding to the weight of the whole, has his value, and his use; out of it, the greatest talents are wholly unserviceable to the public. No man, who is not inflamed by vain-glory into enthusiasm, can flatter himself that his single, unsupported, desultory, unsystematic endeavours, are of power to defeat the subtle designs and united cabals of ambitious citizens. When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall, one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle."

–Edmund Burke, Thoughts on the Cause of the Present Discontents 82-83 (1770) in: Select Works of Edmund Burke, vol. 1, p. 146 (Liberty Fund ed. 1999)."

Burke supported the rights of American colonists and disagreed with the monarchy's treatment of British citizens in the Americas.

I'm not reading any of that. It makes no difference.

Ok, and? Being a dumb 19 year old behind a machine gun doesn't make ones opinion on anything more valuable.

By the time they become a "vet", they're at least 22 years old. While I agree that the opinions of 20somethings is often lacking in experience, I'll put a group of fifty 20something vets who served honorably against a hundred non-serving 20somethings any day. The most of the latter probably live in their parent's basement with only two goals in life: to make the top score in their favorite video game and to ask Mom "What's for dinner?" The vets aren't perfect, but at least they've cut the dependency strings.

I'll always give more weight to the opinions of vets than those who never served unless that person has done something similar: nurse, doctor, EMT, police, fireman, etc.

First, no they aren't all 22. I EAS'ed before 22. Second, most vets did the same thing. They sat in the barracks and drank beer while playing Xbox and trying to stick their dick in every wet hole within a 100 mile radius.

Which, to a very large extent, is exactly what most 22 year olds do. The fact remains that by completing boot camp and honorably serving their nation for four years, they are still a step above those who didn't....with the previously mentioned exceptions.

"...in a Warsaw speech that gently criticized Russia". Ronald Reagan is probably laughing from the grave.

"The president also had tough words for Russia on Thursday, though he did not fully endorse allegations, backed by U.S. intelligence agencies, that Moscow interfered in the 2016 presidential election that he won.

Trump meets President Vladimir Putin for the first time face-to-face on Friday in Hamburg, the site of the G20 summit.
"

It was after the "face-to-face" where Putin did whatever he did to convince Trump to stop criticizing him. Thanks for the link!
you idiot.
Who said "Trust but verify?" -your hero Reagan. Point being diplomacy doesn't mean "tough talk" by itself

Trump doesn't have to criticize -he didn't criticize Xi either, until China let COVID loose on the world)

They try to speak civally and well of each other -Putin used to do the same at Trump. what does that mean?
*wait for it* hint: there are deeds and there are words -capiche'?

How many Democrats serve honorably in the military? Did you serve? In the US military, that is, not China's or anyone elses.

Speaking of which, have you ever condemned Putin? Can you condemn Putin? Are you able to post "Vladimir Putin drops to his knees to blow Trump's micropenis "mushroom" dick??

....or are you like Tom, the Brit bath house cocksucker living in Thailand, who loooooves to bitch about American Lefties taking away freedoms but refuses to ever say a single bad word about either British Royalty or that lame piece of shit coward who is the King of Thailand? Are you a coward like Tom or just a liar?
Excellent post Sir.

Translation: I can't say anything bad about the honorable President Vladimir Putin.

Got it. Thanks.

doubtful I can help you. you're dumb as a box of rocks

....and that's all you have; insults and false claims of trying to help people. Sad for Americans, but I'm certain President Putin is proud of you, tovarich.
