He did poorly in the debates because he's just plain stupid and voters saw it. He's a fraud and NOT the brilliant neurosurgeon he claims to be. He admits he got thru college thanks to affirmative action. Without AA he'd be washing cars.

march 2 2016 Ben Carson, the retired neurosurgeon who briefly led the Republican presidential race before his campaign began an extended public implosion, told his supporters in a statement Wednesday afternoon that he does not see a “path forward” and will not attend Thursday’s debate in Detroit.

Carson, however, did not formally suspend his campaign. Instead, he said in the statement that has decided to make a speech about his political future on Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland, just outside of Washington.

“I do not see a political path forward in light of last evening’s Super Tuesday primary results,” the statement said. “However, this grassroots movement on behalf of ‘We the People’ will continue. Along with millions of patriots who have supported my campaign for President, I remain committed to Saving America for Future Generations.”

How am i racist.?? Carson is the racist for accepting affirmative action and thus stealing a college placement from a more deserving white student. And YOU are racist for approving that.

He is surely not the guy to be CIC and President, but to say, "He's a fraud and NOT the brilliant neurosurgeon he claims to be", is just a plain ignorant lie.

I don't think I ever heard him describe himself as brilliant.....

Brilliant might be overstating his talents but he was well thought of in his field and a gifted surgeon........

The OP is an ignorant troll. Dr. Carson wasn't ready to be CIC and President but the guy has lived an amazing life and still has a lot to give. I don't think we've seen the last of him.

he was out of his league to be POTUS.
I don't think he even has the temperament -he is too demurring . But yes he is brilliant in his field
 
It would have taken time to get him up to speed but I think Ben would have made a good president. Reason being his assumptions about how the world works are correct.

And you don't get to the top of neuroscience just because of AA.
