some of the things she says...like the lion king bit...are absolutely beyond stupid.

i have no idea why she has so many conservative supporters. i didn't read all the supposed quotes, but some of them are blown out of proportion by far left wing nutters like kenneth who subsist off of making those who do not agree with their political POV's look evil.

IOW --> hacks

Yurt did you read some of the reasoning from this hack?

#2 Appeal to Krugman. Like he hasn't been pwned.
#3 A simple lie. Lots of scientists believe in ID.
#4 Purposeful mis-interpretation.
#5 Appeal to authority. In this case, the same website that she blogs for.

I could go on, but with these errors in logic as well as outright lies and misrepresentation, why bother?

(6) BACHMANN CLAIMED THAT CARBON DIOXIDE IS ‘HARMLESS’: In 2008, a Stanford scientist revealed “direct links” between increased levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and “increases in human mortality” — globally, he found that as many as “20,000 air-pollution-related deaths per year per degree Celsius may be due to this greenhouse gas.” The next year, Bachmann, who is not a scientist, said that “carbon dioxide is portrayed as harmful. But there isn’t even one study that can be produced that shows that carbon dioxide is a harmful gas.”

She's correct. See the link i posted yesterday that proves it's impossible for CO2 to cause increased warming because CO2 acts as a coolant by displacing the more effective greenhouse gas water vapor. I know you warmers can't understand, but you are wrong if you think CO2 can cause water vapor to increase its forcing

she has zero chance of the nomination, but why not let her fleece assholes like damn Yankee who is dumb enough to support her and ID.

Is she tweeting her Weiner?

Weiner tweeted his tool.

Bat-shit Bachmann is a tool.

She's blowing your tax dollars on political rallies for her flagging "movement".

On Nov. 5, 2009, at the behest of Rep. Michele Bachmann, thousands of tea party activists descended on the Capitol to vent their rage over the health care overhaul bill pending before Congress.

The assembled activists chanted, "Kill the bill! Kill the bill!" and waved signs opposing a government takeover of health care — but they may not have known that the same government was paying for the event.

According to House expense reports, Bachmann and three conservative GOP colleagues — Reps. Tom Price (Ga.), Steve King (Iowa) and Todd Akin (Mo.) — each paid $3,407.50 that day, a total of $13,630, to a sound and stage company called National Events, apparently for the sound system used at the rally.

The money came from the Members' taxpayer-funded office accounts, despite House rules prohibiting the use of these funds for political activities.

She thinks the shot heard 'round the world was fired in New Hampshire, and you're stupid enough to believe that she reads von Mises at the beach.

Bat-shit Bach-to-Mom wants smaller government - for you - while her family farm pockets a quarter million federal subsidy dollars.

The Bachmann family farm, managed by her father-in-law until his recent death, received $251,000 in farm payments between 1995 and 2006. Bachmann’s financial disclosure forms indicate her stake in the Wisconsin farm is worth up to $250,000. Her income from the farm has grown...

Obama Using Tax Money to Campaign

“Jesse Lee will move from the new media department into a role in the communications department as Director of Progressive Media & Online Response,” said Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer” reported the Daily Caller. “Rapid response has been the purview of the Democratic National Committee… he will be pressing to make the administration more popular on the web.” wrote Sam Stein in the Huffington Post.

A search for Jesse Lee on WhiteHouse.gov states “Lee worked in the New Media department for the Transition team doing online outreach, having done online communications for the Democratic National Committee during election season. Prior to that he was Senior New Media Advisor to Speaker Nancy Pelosi for the 110th Congress, having worked for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee online from 2004-2006.”

here

Appearances are that Lee be doing the work of the DNC and Obama campaign on the taxpayer dime. If this was a Republican Administration that was doing this it would be in the newspapers and TV for the next month, on how they were using taxpayer money to run a political campaign. But what should we expect from a media that was in full support of Obama in the last election.

Air Force One is quickly becoming President Barack Obama’s 2012 campaign-bus. Next week, one of the two presidential Boeing 747s is scheduled to carry the president down to North Carolina and then to Florida, both of which are must-wins for his campaign.

The Florida visit was announced today, and followed yesterday’s announcement by the White House that the President will fly to Durham, N.C., on June 13 to meet with his Jobs and Competitiveness Council at Cree Inc., a company that is developing new-generation lights. Today’s announcement revealed the aircraft will next fly to Miami International Airport and depart the next morning.

The White House statement did not say what events are scheduled for Miami, nor if the POTUS and his entourage will be returning to D.C. that day, or jetting off to another location.

Bat-shit Bachmann (R-Minn.) has built a large part of her conservative appeal on strict opposition to federal intervention in the free market.

Bachmann's record doesn't match the fiscal conservative hype.

A Freedom of Information Act request for communications the Minnesota Republican has had with the Department of Agriculture shows that she leaned heavily on federal officials for help -- never more so than when it came to aiding the pork and dairy producers in her state.

Bachmann wrote Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack praising him for injecting money into the pork industry through the form of direct government purchases.

She went on to request additional assistance.

"Your efforts to stabilize prices through direct government purchasing of pork and dairy products are very much welcomed by the producers in Minnesota, and I would encourage you to take any additional steps necessary to prevent further deterioration of these critical industries, such as making additional commodity purchases and working to expand trade outlets for these and other agricultural goods," Bachmann wrote.

Bachmann's congressional office did not return requests for comment for this article.

At least she admitted her idiocy, unlike failin' Palin.

Bat-Shit- Bachmann (R-Minn.) tried to explain away a historical gaffe she made during a stop in New Hampshire.

In a misstep that landed her in the headlines, Bachmann told a group of local Republicans, "You're the state where the shot was heard around the world in Lexington and Concord."

The first shots of the Revolutionary War, however, were not fired in the Granite State, but rather in Massachusetts.

"I made a mistake; I should've said Massachusetts rather than New Hampshire," said the Bach-to-Mom.
