The curious declaration by Bari Weiss, the heterodox founder of the anti-woke digital outlet The Free Press who now leads the Tiffany Network’s news division, sparked widespread mockery from journalists and commentators.

In other words, a loose group of powerful supporters of Israel used their financial resources and connections behind the scenes to destroy the reputations of two academics who wrote a paper arguing that a loose group of Israel supporters was using their connections and financial resources to shape American foreign policy.
