That is incorrect, with just a bit more information one can use information such as that to find people. I find that nipping this type of thing in the bud is the best way to go, otherwise people start inserting stuff in the middle of posts etc, soon information is used to start threatening to contact others...

This is the last it will be spoken of on the board, you'll note that is also in the rules.. Just stop giving out information about others, however innocuous you think it is.

You mean like the pm zap sent (edited information)? That kind of personal nipping in the bud? You did nip that right?

PMs are PMs. Leave them off the board, you'll note that is also in the rules. If you feel that such contact would be a threat to you, you need to contact the authorities. It is wise to send such contact to the Admins, but we have no authority. We can save them, and if contacted we can pass that kind of information to the authorities if they have court orders.

Yes, Damo, I understand the PM rule...though I am sure it can be arbitrary in its application as well...jus sayin
