He singularly of many top politicians who have mishandled classified documents is being charged with multiple felonies for it. For the rest, nothing was ever charged. He got hit with felonies for supposedly trying to cover this all up, yet the Hildabeast could bleach bit her server and nothing was charged for that obvious cover up, as one example.

On various tax crimes he's been charged with, he was charged with felonies when something like 98% of the cases for that particular crime were charged as misdemeanors. (New York charges)

On the DC and Georgia charges, a lot of that is taking speech as a crime and charging him for simply saying something.

There are calls he shouldn't be able to run in 2024 under the 14th Amendment too.

It all appears to me to be an effort to keep him off the ballot in 2024 far more than some effort to actually hit him for criminal activity. I can see, whether you can or not, that if he'd just shut up and gone away without trying for a second term, none of this--NONE OF THIS--would be happening. There'd be ZERO attempts to charge him for shit.
I see it as totally politically motivated with anything criminal just being peripheral to the matter. That is the criminal charges are to obtain a political end, not a criminal conviction.

No, it's opportunistic. There is clearly a movement here to keep Trump off the ballot. That's damn obvious. If that happens, then those that are bringing charges, etc., all of a sudden will lose interest in pushing their cases and most of the charges will just be dropped in favor of something more rational. Or, do you really think that these openly Trump hating prosecutors--and that's a provable fact--really are just looking to prosecute Trump for some crime or another and are willing to wait to do that until after the election is held, one in which Trump is looking like a likely serious candidate for election? But that is all the Left (aka Democrats) want. They want to stop Trump from running in 2024. At this point they're willing to do anything to have that happen. They don't care if on appeal every charge is overturned so long as Trump can't run in 2024. They don't care if in 2028 they become the target of similar revenge from the Right. They aren't thinking ahead that far because they don't do that. They see an immediate political goal to retain power and that is stop Trump. They're instinctively going about it using every path available to them. Bragg said even before he was elected to office that he was out to get Trump.

Fani Willis? Same thing. She was leaking stories that Trump was to be charged before the grand jury came to any conclusions. The grand jury was just a formality. She planned on charging Trump regardless.

The indictments are legal, the problem is that the charges are like 90% bullshit. Willis charged Trump under the RICO act. Get real. Trump was not the head of some on-going criminal cabal that was running and performing crimes over a period of years. That's what RICO is for. But Willis knows that getting a RICO conviction is easier because she can drag all sorts of innuendo and marginal evidence in from all over the place to buffalo a jury that is likely anti-Trump to begin with to get a conviction.
