doesn't everyone have carte blanche to complain about public servants?.......
I want everyone to note, that this question above, is by someone who claims to be a lawyer with decades of experience.
I do not think any non lawyer could think of such a stupid question to ask, like the above, with regards to an ongoing Court case.
The Courts are under no obligation to release anyone prior to their case being heard. Release is done via a judge giving 'conditions for release' and the accused 'agreeing'.
The accused can absolutely refuse and do whatever they want, and the Court in return can remand them to custody and jail, until the case is complete.
That is Trump's choice to make.
