Bain Capitol owns Clear Channel

Wouldn’t it be great if a Republican presidential candidate could just buy the support of just about every major conservative talk show host in America? Well, it may not be as far-fetched as you may think.
Clear Channel owns more radio stations (850) than anyone else in the United States. They also own Premiere Radio Networks, the company that syndicates the radio shows of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck, among others.
Needless to say, Clear Channel basically owns conservative talk radio in the United States. So who owns Clear Channel?
Well, it turns out that Bain Capital is one of the primary owners of Clear Channel. Yes, you read that correctly. The company that Mitt Romney ran for so long is one of the “big bosses” over virtually all conservative talk radio in America
 
Clear Channel employees are lucky Mitt "Gordon Gekko" Romney didn't strip the assets and fire them all to make a quick buck.
 
Yeah, you can tell that he has total control by the way Rush lambastes him on his show.

If you had some evidence that all these people supported him throughout all of this Primary I might be prone to believe it mattered that he ran that company a long time ago but the evidence seems to go in the other direction.

That's silly. When he changed and supported McCain after the primary in 2008 did that mean McCain owned the radio station?

You're more than reaching. The premise is just as stupid as people who believe that Breitbart was killed by the Obama machine...

If Mitt had this kind of control over the airwaves the time to use it would be during the Primary, not after when Rush would support him regardless. It really would take a purposeful effort to believe that it would be shocking for him to support the republican nominee even if he didn't support them during the Primary after seeing what happened in the past.
 
The Right is not monolithic. The Paulistas revile the Romneyacs, who are never nice to Newtzis, who seldom suffer Santorumanians.

Um... He worked for a company that now owns that, he doesn't personally own it. Do you even read your own articles?

And clearly you cared, your example was how he was controlled by this "ownership".. You even mentioned him along with many others. The reality is, you have zero evidence that any of the people that work for any of the radio stations you want to believe have been corrupted by this rather weak argument have ever changed any of their views in favor of the person you are accusing them of supporting...

The reality doesn't reflect your half-baked theory as Romney is very often, in fact most often by radio wonks, called too "moderate" and lambasted.
 
Perhaps, but now that the Righties are starting to realize Romney is their only choice, they'll stop attacking him, IMO.

He certainly isn't 50% plus owner of Bain. The reality is, nothing you can link us to can show any evidence that Rush, et al you mentioned previously, have changed one iota of their currently negative opinion of Romney.

Let's put this into a valid analogy that even an ideologue like you will understand.

Let's say that Obama was shown to have links with factcheck.org...

I didn't say he was the majority owner (50+%), i said he was a major shareholder.

As to the rest of your stuff, maybe my pal itinerant Bob is right about the weed out in Colorado, because you are definitely smoking the good stuff.

You're right, there really isn't any evidence that anybody changed even one opinion of Romney because of this, therefore I'm going to say something stupid that will hopefully make people think I'm cool and distract from the fact that my silly claim is shown to be nonsense when compared to the evidence we have at hand, nor will their support for him if he becomes the candidate ever have been different if he didn't own some stock in a company he used to work at.

I also understand your analogy with Obama, but I don't want to admit that. I would prefer to talk about something that is clearly shown as a paper tiger and hope you'll stop making me look like a fool.
