Bad news for Southern Cali natural gas consumers

Unconstitutional.

Nope. Our neighboring state New Hampshire has a state run monopoly on hard liquor sales (except by the glass, of course), they of the Live Free or Die motto!
If it's "constitutional" [I've come to hate that word because of idiots like yourself] for small things, it's "constitutional" for big things as well.
You, noisy bird, don't know nearly as much as you think that you do.

You don't believe that we've trashed the fucking planet.
I'm absolutely certain that we have, but I just don't care as much as most.
I'm 76, have no grandchildren, so convenience and comfort always remain my priorities.

The number one thing "trash(ing) the planet" is poverty and ignorance. If you really want to do something to improve the environment, work to lift people out of poverty.

New Hampshire has no authority to implement a state run monopoly on hard liquor sales.
The United States has no authority to implement a monopoly for AT&T.

Both acts are unconstitutional.
