Why would it get murkier? Seriously?

Once sentience, consciousness, viability, et al. enter the equation, it definitely get murkier. Again, it's why Roe was such a great compromise. First trimester - women have an option, and aren't FORCED BY THE STATE to carry a fetus to term. They have time to make a reasoned decision.

And most Americans get that. There is overwhelming support for keeping abortion safe & legal.

Well, it's "working", just not the way the MAGAs had hoped. Red states are legalizing it and the attempt to take rights away from women with Dobbs made more people vote Democrat the last 2 cycles.

MANY who practice safe sex get pregnant anyway. And rape is often extremely difficult if not impossible to prove in a court of law. There are all kinds of scenarios where responsible individuals get pregnant.

So, bzzzzzzzt. Wrong answer. Sorry - if you support the idea of the state FORING a woman to carry a fetus to term, you do not support liberty.

I support the developing human being's right to life. If contraception is practice responsibly there is very little chance of pregnancy. And the participants in a relationship should not engage in sex unless they agree to raise a child if the sex results in a pregnancy. Termination of someone else's life for YOUR mistake is simply WRONG.
