Perhaps he or she didn't see it yet... maybe a better question would be if a woman has a miscarriage at 10 weeks is it the loss of a child? No one says " I'm so sorry to hear you lost the clump..." "rational " people acknowledge what it is... it has next to nothing to do with religion as suggested... but watch someone is going to say that there's a difference between wanted and unwanted children...

Indeed.

The inconsistency of the left is mind boggling.

The loss of a child during pregnancy is one of the most intense sorrows that a woman can experience. It is not the loss of a “clump,” it is the loss of a human being who has the most sacred right, the right to live.
 
Being adopted, I certainly have a log in this fire.

That said, there are times when an abortion could be needed, but using it as a method of birth control, as the left seem to think, is NOT one of them.
