Bachmann plan would cut veterans benefits

I just can't get over how much you fucking slime balls on the right get excited about punishing other people. It is the number one personality marker of authoritarianism...

And we KNOW...

While not all conservatives are authoritarians; all highly authoritarian personalities are political conservatives.
Robert Altmeyer - The Authoritarians

and the slimeballs on the left get excited about making bullshit claims about the slimeballs on the right.....

Let me clue you in, Bfoon, since you seem to not get it... there are going to be some major cuts in federal funding of various programs, this is just a start. In fact, this really isn't even a "cut" for the most part, it is a freeze and an offset for what SSI covers already, pertaining to VA disability. But really now, is this how you are planning to act with everything that is proposed regarding spending cuts? How are we ever going to get a budget under control, if you are going to obfuscate and gyrate every time something gets the axe? Do you not understand, in your abject ignorance, that actual money has to be cut from the budget to balance it? Does it not compute in your rather limited brain, that any cut, means less money, and people are going to whine about that?

Here's what you need to do... GROW THE FUCK UP! Understand, we are BROKE, we have to make CUTS in the money we are spending! It doesn't matter if you don't like it, it doesn't matter if you call us "mean" because of it, this is just a REALITY we have to face now, because we are fucking BROKE!

Hey dick head...did you ever ask the question of your man crush Bush ...HOW are you going to pay for this war you want to start in Iraq?

OR...did you ask him HOW he was going to pay for that useless bloated bureaucratic fiasco called fatherland security?

NONE of you slime ball cheerleaders for murder and torture asked these questions or even talked about debt and deficits.

NOW, all of a sudden it is THE crisis. It's NOT the number one crisis we face. IF you fucking right wing Monica Lewinsky's for the rich were REALLY worried about debt, you would have opposed extending the Bush tax cuts for the rich you want to suck off and swallow their cum...

then what is?..... I thought the economy ranked pretty high in most folks' minds.....

The economy yes...jobs and making sure the economy keeps growing. A strong GDP.

The cuts Bachmann plans will add millions to the ranks of unemployed.

This will be a culture war between intelligent human beings and morons on the right who never took a course in civics and have no clue what a society is.

Except cutting taxes increase economic activity, which causes tax revenues to rise...

1) To say the tax increases in 93 created jobs is a joke. It was the internet/tech/biotech/telecom boom that created the jobs. Period. Tax increases do not produce jobs.

2) The revenue stream increased after Clinton LOWERED the cap gains taxes... note... this was also a byproduct of the boom... the tax decrease did not in itself do so.

3) Now... take a look at the unemployment rate.... With the exception of the last few months of the Bush Presidency, the unemployment rate stayed near 5% or below for the majority of his two terms.

So looking at number 3, tell us... if we are at full employment, what good is it to create jobs? Is the labor force going to magically produce more labor?

Note to all morons: This is not a defense of Bush's economic policies. He was an economic mess. But the above post by Bfgrn is a joke and thus he must be called out for it.

Bush On Jobs: The Worst Track Record On Record

By WSJ Staff

President George W. Bush entered office in 2001 just as a recession was starting, and is preparing to leave in the middle of a long one. That’s almost 22 months of recession during his 96 months in office.

His job-creation record won’t look much better. The Bush administration created about three million jobs (net) over its eight years, a fraction of the 23 million jobs created under President Bill Clinton’s administration and only slightly better than President George H.W. Bush did in his four years in office.

Here’s a look at job creation under each president since the Labor Department started keeping payroll records in 1939. The counts are based on total payrolls between the start of the month the president took office (using the final payroll count for the end of the prior December) and his final December in office.

Because the size of the economy and labor force varies, we also calculate in percentage terms how much the total payroll count expanded under each president. The current President Bush, once taking account how long he’s been in office, shows the worst track record for job creation since the government began keeping records

Wall Street Journal

A Comprehensive Assessment of the Bush Administration's Record on Cutting Taxes

* The Bush tax cuts have contributed to revenues dropping in 2004 to the lowest level as a share of the economy since 1950, and have been a major contributor to the dramatic shift from large projected budget surpluses to projected deficits as far as the eye can see.

* The tax cuts have conferred the most benefits, by far, on the highest-income households — those least in need of additional resources — at a time when income already is exceptionally concentrated at the top of the income spectrum.

* The design of these tax cuts was ill-conceived, resulting in significantly less economic stimulus than could have been accomplished for the same budgetary cost. In part because the tax cuts were not as effective as alternative measures would have been, job creation during this recovery has been notably worse than in any other recovery since the end of World War II.

Yes lets not mention the dot com bust being a major reason these "projected" budget surpluses didn't materialize because we all knew the stock market full of companies with zero or little revenue and multi-billion valuations would continue on for years.

Actually, cutting VA disability benefits to compensate for SS benefits makes a lot of sense to me, even though there are significantly different standards between the two.

Yes dickcheesebrain, that is right... All I ever did was cheer and laugh as Bush spent like a drunk sailor! I bet this very board is just full of threads where I am praising Bush for his spending, day in and day out! Not only did I not mind it, I endorsed it and cheered for even more of it, and I bet you can find all the thousands of threads by me, to prove that allegation.

Get busy, fucktard!

I don't have to...the toilet tissue on your tongue say 'Bush'

Well yes, you do have to, retard.. If you make an accusation and fail to back it, you appear to be the empty vessel you are! A blowhard. Someone who just spews shit without any fact, truth, honesty or integrity ever entering into the spewing. Retorting with some juvenile bathroom humor, ain't gonna cut it. Now get your lazy liberal ass busy digging up all those threads where I ever supported Bush spending, as you claimed, or admit you're a fucking liar!

I like those charts and graphs about the Clinton/Gingrich years....
They made a hell of a team.....

and GW's 2 terms weren't too shabbly either...unemployment at 5% give or take a couple tenths...too bad the Democratic Congress had to enter the picture....
Clinton was lucky to not have that handicap in his second term.

I don't have to...the toilet tissue on your tongue say 'Bush'

Hey BFoon, if you can show proof that Dixie did something post it. Otherwise stick with topics on which you can actually debate or discuss.

So BFoon, if I keep calling you this will we go from being enemies to being "mortal enemies"?

:palm:
