I just don’t understand Iran. I remember when they had huge protests chanting”death to America” in support of Khomeini and against the Shah.
They got what they asked for.
Now it seems it’s a complete turnaround.

Over 50% of the population is under 25, they want the freedom to be able to travel and live their own life without some medieval religious cunts dictating to them.
 
It is much like Russia. They are terrified to speak against Putin or the war. You can get in trouble for calling it a war instead of a special operation. You also cannot speak against Putin. All the press is government controlled.
