Awful new details about the Durham probe demand a serious response

Sounds to me like Durham has some pretty good shit on the Democrats and they're starting to panic.

Is that why he came up with absolutely nothing after wasting taxpayer money for 4 years? Absolutely nothing.

Don't know. What I do know is that if a powerful Democrat starts trying to smear an investigation into Democrats it usually means the investigation has found paydirt.

Durham's investigation has found nothing about Democrats. His 2 prosecutions both led to acquittals and the jury in one of those cases stated the charges were so weak they wondered why they were even brought. The judge reprimanded him more than once for bringing things up for which he had no evidence. But the fact of the matter is Durham wasn't supposed to be investigating Democrats. He was supposed to be investigating criminal acts in the DoJ and the FBI that brought about the investigation of Russian interference.

The NYTimes article that is leading to the call for an investigation says that Durham and Barr regularly sipped whiskey together. (Barr was supposed to be independent from the DoJ and Barr.) They took a trip to Italy together and while there were told by Italian authorities about possible financial crimes by Trump that it appears were never investigated after being informed. At least 2 of the DoJ employees working for him quit because they felt Durham was not following long standing DoJ procedures for how to investigate and indict.

At this point we can only wait for Durham's required report and see if he actually has any evidence. What we have seen at trial would indicate he has none.
