A more logical assumption would be that the bar is enormously high to get approval for a search warrant for an ex-President's home. The fact that it got multiple approvals speaks volumes about what they think they have on Trump. They would not do this frivolously.

No, I'm basing that on the performance of the various Trump haters on the Left and Democrats to date. The FBI got multiple FISA court warrants approved against Trump based on bullshit, as but one example. Then there was that Whitmer assassination thing the FBI screwed the pooch on as another. The Left / Democrats aren't exactly batting 1000 here.

Oh, I'm not defending Trump by any means, what I'm saying is his opponents are morons.

It wasn't a raid, it was a search warrant that Trump received a copy of and could just post on the internet if it was somehow an example of government overreach.

For someone with a mouth as big as his, it's definitely weird that he's keeping it shut when it comes to this warrant.

Because a judge agreed with the investigators that a search warrant could be issued, probably because Trump has been trying to cover his tracks by doing things like flushing documents down the toilet, or eating them.

Trump took documents from the White House that he wasn't allowed to take.

15 boxes of documents and we don't know what he did with any of them.

Then he lied about taking the documents, and lied about destroying some of them.

This is the guy you spent all those years defending, and now you don't want to eat shit for doing so.
