Audio of Trump saying he has a 'secret' document that he knows he can't declassify

We fight, We win, Am Yisrael Chai
An audio clip obtained by CNN shows Trump saying he has a "highly confidential" document.

Trump also says in the 2021 clip that if we were still president he could declassify it.

The clip contradicts Trump's claims that all the records he had were already declassified.

In leaked audio from 2021, published Monday by CNN, former President Donald Trump is about as direct as he can be in acknowledging that he knows a document he has is "secret," that it has not been declassified, and that if he were still president he could declassify it.

Stop persecuting Trump!

The recording, which first aired on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360,” includes new details from the conversation that is a critical piece of evidence in special counsel Jack Smith’s indictment of Trump over the mishandling of classified information, including a moment when Trump seems to indicate he was holding a secret Pentagon document with plans to attack Iran.

“These are the papers,” Trump says in the audio recording, while he’s discussing the Pentagon attack plans, a quote that was not included in the indictment.

With the audio.

Just another hit piece from CNN

Trump : '...look... look at it... it secret you know. Highly confidential. Look. Is that not cool...isn't it amazing... I could have declassified it while POTUS but now i cannot...'

Other person awkward giggling : 'isn't that incredible'. 'Hillary would print THAT out all the time.'

Trump loves bragging about committing crimes.

“This was done by the military and given to me,” Trump continues, before noting that the document remained classified.

“See as president I could have declassified it,” Trump says. “Now I can’t, you know, but this is still a secret.”

“Now we have a problem,” his staffer responds.

“Isn’t that interesting,” Trump says.

And the reporting is that at least one person in that room is testifying as to seeing documents marked Top Secret.

He really is a fucking moron.

From the link:

"In the audio, Trump says "I have a big pile of papers" as it sounds like someone rifling through pages. The details of the conversation are unclear, but Trump says the documents he is holding prove he is right, but that he can't share them because they are "secret."

"This totally wins my case, you know," Trump says, "except it is like highly confidential, secret — this is secret information."
"

His JPP fans are similar.

Care to wager on whether the clip is verified in court, Tink?

I'm betting it is. Trump really is a dumbass. He was never really great before, but like Joe, he's clearly slowing down at age 77. I'm against electing anyone over 65 to the WH for two full terms or will not leave office until over 75.

BTW, if Trump really won in 2020 doesn't that mean he's ineligible to run for a third term? It's a question someone asked before but I never saw answered.
Something doesn't add up. LOL

He can win but he has to be sworn in I believe which never happened

There is nothing preventing him from pardoning himself

That issue has never come up to the Court before so yes under the constitution he could do it

I'm not a lawyer but confess it would be interesting to see what our nation does when we allow our leaders to be above the law. :)

Something you seem to gleefully support.

All pardons place people above the law

That is the point of them

Disagreed, Tink. Pardons are forgiveness for guilt. By accepting a pardon, like ex-General, current traitor, Michael Flynn did, he's admitting he was guilty of all crimes for which he was pardoned.
