Of course they did. Trump Jr. regularly worked on deals involving his dad years before his presidency. That was standard operating procedure for them, and nothing at all was scandalous about it. But, when it comes to the Bidens, we're supposed to pretend it was scandalous. Why?

The Bidens did, and Hunter's deals with Red China , Ukraine and Russia were ALL while Joe was VP.

There are two issues there. The first is when Joe Biden was involved. The only evidence we have suggesting involvement was a cryptic reference "the big guy" in 2017, when Joe Biden was a private citizen and there wouldn't have been anything remotely unethical about him being involved. The second is what Hunter Biden did. There was, obviously, nothing at all wrong with doing business in China, Ukraine, or Russia, for a private citizen like Hunter Biden, whether or not his father was in government at the time. The only way it would be scandalous is if either we had some evidence Joe Biden was involved in facilitating those deals at a time when he was in government, or if Hunter Biden were in government at the time.

If you're hungry for a scandal, look to farther than the Trumps. Ivanka Trump very much did do business with "Red China" AT A TIME WHEN SHE WAS A TOP OFFICIAL IN THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION. It's very weird that some people are desperately trying to link Hunter Biden's business deals to misuse of government office, absent a shred of evidence, while those very same people obediently ignore a clear example of Ivanka Trump's business deals misusing government office. It's almost as if this isn't about principle, but rather about partisan advantage.
