Attacks on Syria and Bashar Assad rejected by McCain townhall audiences

When John McCain held a townhall meeting in Prescott during his recent visit to Arizona the senator had planned to talk about immigration as well as other subjects of interest including Obamacare. Instead all he got was an earful as the attendees were almost entirely against intervention of any kind in Syria.

No matter where McCain has gone in Arizona he has faced voters who have turned thumbs down on Obama’s war plans even if the President promises “no boots on the ground.”

McCain, "Unless we act in my view, in some fashion that would give him [Bashar Assad] a green light to use chemical weapons again -- but also the Iranians who are building nuclear weapons, the North Koreans and others."

I hope more are with me on this. WE NEED PROOF TO FUND WARS, NOT SUSPICIANS. THE AMERICAN SOLDIERS AND NATIONAL SECURITY SHOULD NOT BE AT RISK UNTIL THERE IS PROOF OF WMDS, NUKES AND WHO GASSED WHO.

And even in this case if we had proof Assad used gas? Not our issue. We are not world police. They are not our allies and we don't want them to be.

We need to stop this;
