Atlanta officers not responding to some 911 calls

No one is painting all cops with the same brush, but look at all the times police have refused to testify against another police person because of some code of honor they have for each other when their oath was to the people and communities they serve. Review all the times police person who did stand up and do what was right, lost their jobs or were forced out because they were ostracized. The Blue Line needs to be brought down. Things need to change, rogue cops need to understand their criminal behavior will not be tolerated.

Horse shit. Cops are being looked at with distrust and as potential killers all over the nation. It was primarily by blacks but with the Floyd and Brooks killings it has spread across racial lines. And all the demonstrations against cops doesn't help.

From the OP. This thread is about police failing to respond to 911 calls and you wrote "Cops are human and don't respond well to all the hatred aimed at them."

Thanks and agreed about "any first responder be it a cop, EMT, Fire Fighter that doesn't respond to a 911 call resulting in injury, death, or loss of property should be held responsible". Like you and I, police officers swore an oath. They should be held accountable for abiding by that oath.

And you are saying cops aren't human?

The police who refuse to do their jobs are self-identifying as likely bad cops. Replace them. Cops should be ashamed at how they treat the poor and blacks. Their bad behavior has been shown on cell phones. Instead of saying, we do wrong and we should stop, they fight change.

I disagree, sorry. The majority of people just want accountability, although I imagine the pockets of communities that have bad relationships with their local police may feel that way, but the majority doesn’t.

Agreed. Most kids know a Mother's comment "Clean up your room before I clean it for you". As adults we know it's better to clean one's own house before someone else does it. The police culture, partly because of police unions, are not cleaning up their own houses. Now American citizens are motivated to do it for them.

Are you saying every one of those 911 calls was by a person who hates cops? If a police officer fails to do their duty for political reasons and a person dies, should the police officer be held responsible for their death?

No

Can’t have it both ways

Maybe people should indicate whether they want po po or not. Like a DNR

Call it a DNP. Do not police

Police yourself. You can do it better

Be progressive

Essentially I am. I live in a rural area. A 911 call reporting a B&E would see a deputy here in about 15-20 minutes.

Be smart, be American, stop being a fucking lowlife, lying coward. You'll thank me for it if you do. :)

There you go again lying your ass off like a Russian intel agent. Sad.

In America, we pay taxes and expect our police to act IAW their oaths and codes of ethics.

Of course they should, but no, they are not obligated to help.
