When my late husband was in the ICU on life support, the hospital chaplain, a Catholic priest, came to talk with us and offer prayer and a shoulder. I told him that we were not Xtian but rather pagan. And that my husband told me he'd be driving the bus to Hell and that he'd save me a seat up close by the fire when it was my turn. lol The priest just laughed and said "Well, we Christians like to believe that we have the only way to Heaven, but we're wrong about that." Nice man, very comforting, most Christ-like.
 
This Pope makes sense from the nonsense.
I hear he actually is opposed to poverty and molesting boys. That's also refreshing.
How about an encyclical re the birth control thingy

I agree with all of that. I also agree that oftentimes religion actually works for the human good.

That being said, there is science, there is truth.

If you were a former catechumen that means you were getting instructions prior to being baptized. So why would you even take instruction if you weren't prepared to believe what you were being taught, liar?

As long as some form of spirituality is practiced it's usually a good thing.
I'm an atheist but try to follow the Tao. I've had devout Chistians as employees and they've all been very good.

it gets you to a place that the non believers would be bugged by the people they love to believe in it


it would help get nonbelievers to pretend they believe

Dumb twat, Catechism is what you go through before you get confirmation in order to accept communion, you ignorant twat. I was eight and had to do what I was told. And I was baptized shortly after I was born, you stupid twat.
