Fascinating. Why, that verse describes almost all of the JPP self-professed Xtians.
Maybe this will help clear up the confusion among the Xtians here on how I see them/see things. You say you're Christian. I'm cool with that. You see that in one of my posts that I'm defending, for example, the right of a gay couple to get married and enjoy all the legal rights that me and my husband enjoy. You fly into a rant about sin and sinners and abominations and quote Scripture and call both me and the gay couple damned. Later, you see someone discussing why they think Trump is a horrid leader. You flip your switch to Satan Mode and call him despicable names and condemn him to Hell as well. I mean the commenter, not Trump. Nope, your kinda Christian will NEVER condemn Trump no matter what he does because you see him as some sort of tool of god to make all the shit you wish for in America come true. Hahaha, joke's on you! We all see the hypocrisy in you not condemning an adulterous, lying, swindling, gluttonous, false-witness-bearing person -- but those who criticize him are hell-bound.
Then there are ppl like Leaningright and Stretch who are also self-professed Christians. They might quote Scripture a bit too much for the rest of our comfort, but they don't devolve into personal attacks, name-calling, and consigning ppl to their Hell. Yeah, they're often irritating.... lol. But to me (a non-Xtian who was raised as one), they exemplify their Christ a lot better than do the screaming, cursing, ugly, racist, hateful Xtians we've seen here.
Well, there is no such thing as gay marriage. There is marriage, and that is that. Now, if society wants to make-up new definitions to things, and follow those made-up definitions to their conclusion, then go nuts.
