At messaging retreat, Democrats discuss how to connect with voters

You whined about how you perceive Democrats thinking they're better than you, which is why you won't vote for them.

So how are Democrats supposed to not make you perceive that when it's a choice you're making yourself to be offended or insulted?

is it a slave's choice to feel pain when he is whipped?

that slave is making bad choices. he's not a victim.

I agree, you are making bad choices.

Comparing yourself to a slave is one of those bad choices you are making.

You misunderstand.

Thats what you would say to a slave being whipped, that it's his choice to feel the pain. he's making bad choices.

it's fairly ludicrous.

PHILADELPHIA — At a messaging retreat this week, House Democratic members were coached on how to better connect with voters.

A sitcom showrunner and a best-selling fiction writer encouraged them to tell stories rather than give voters the usual laundry list of reasons Democrats should remain in the majority. Three marketing executives, including one from Pepsi, urged them to craft their messages like sharp advertisements. And leaders echoed a new slogan unveiled by the national party: They can deliver.

You want to know how to "connect" with voters? I don't suspect it will help you much because you people either can't or won't do some self reflection so it seems hopeless but it's worth doing if for no other reason than I can say I tried to sincerely to answer the question.

First stop calling people who disagree with you deplorable, semi fascist (whatever the fuck that is) racist homophobic transphobic white supremacists.

Next l, just every once in a while stop and consider that the things you say and do may actually be a bigger problem than the people who are reacting negatively to what you say and do. This relates back to the lack of self reflection by leftists so this one is tenuous.

Third, stop pretending to care about things you don't really care about and at least be honest about your intentions. People might respect you more and therefore be more willing to listen to you.

Lastly stop spending every minute of every day focused on trump. If you spent half the time and energy on helping America and the American people instead of "getting" trump people might actually start to think you actually care about them.

I suspect none of this will actually get through to you because it all requires you to consider you may be wrong and we know leftists never think that.
