yes. I was impressed with Assange- he's all about transparency -even bypassing the media with it's corrupt redactions
( censorship as he called it). He's paid one heck of a price - but we've learned so much that governments over-classify.

I don't think Assange is a bad guy but I do think he's naive. Information isn't always classified because of the information, sometimes it's the source that makes something classified. The info may seem innocuous but releasing it may give away the source of the information to the enemy and that's why what Assange has been doing is dangerous.

He did mention if sources are in jeopardy - he'll redact - but he'll mention it's a redaction and put some kina time limit on it
( unlike the USA/governments)..He's no saint but he's given us valuable insights the intelligence community never would allow.

I did see the interview. My comments don't apply to the Russian hacking thing but they do apply to Wikileaks in general. I'm sure people have died because of Assange.

True enough but I as just some dude on the Internet forming an opinion am not held to the same standard as a President who wants to sanction the leader of another country.
A hacker who gives stuff to wikileaks, perhaps. And if wiki only publishes what they get from hackers, how do they know everything they get from hackers is accurate?
You don't know that even though you keep repeating it. Maybe you can search for the "durable adult diapers" email from wiki and enlighten us all.
