She is up for re-election but she's a Democrat in ultra right wing Arkansas. Land of the Bubbas. The scary part about Blanch is that she's slightly to the left of Benito Mussilini and for many Arkansans, that's way to liberal for their taste. She'd be a Republican in any northern state.

Arkansas is the most heavily Democratic of all Southern states. You can travel to numerous parts of the state where being a Republican is awkward.
