So they can't make them work with AM radio because of static. There is a great reason to not buy a EV. 50 million people listen to am radio every day.

So just use FM to do messages. I think they already do so I don't get the problem.

AM has much greater range, including for emergency messages...

AM radio has control of most talk radio stations. I never have FM stations on.
