Did I mention an aunt of mine took a deer every year with a top-tier gold-engraved with all kinds of bucks n stuff BAR and fed to it to me in her chili which is to this day my favorite?
Her husband got her the best BAR in 30-.06 they had because he loved his bride. He didn't get a deer every year, but she did.
I talked to her son about how I could never get my chili quite like hers, and then he told me. "She was feeding you deer meat, dude." "You didn't know?"
Don't care. Someday I'll make a pot of chili just like hers with deer meat and I'll add Italian sausage to it.
It'll be ground beef, ground venison, and Italian sausage with big dark red kidney beans.
And I'll eat it with them Georgia Crackers like she used to have, that shows some estate in Athens on the front of the box. There's 2 Lions on either side of the steps.

She got a deer every year. She was my blood, he wasn't , but he was a great dude.
