That is what i thought. The Trump admin and magats here treats uttering the word 'fentanyl', like it is a magic word that then justifies them taking any action they want against a country.
Want to bomb someone put 'fentanyl' in a sentence. Does not matter if they are really a source of it or not.
Want to put tariffs on Canada, claim 'fentanyl' and that you are closing the border. Does not matter that MORE 'fentanyl flows from the US in to Canada, then the other way around and thus closing the border means you net out keeping more of it in the US'.

Or better yet, if a future Dem gov't declared 'guns an emergency' using almost all the same reasoning Trump has with drugs, since it would apply, would you support that future Dem Potus taking all the same actions, including marching ICE (after he converts it to a gun focus) in to Red State only to 'seek out those trading in illegal guns' and forcing every legal owner to provide ID and proof and then targeting and killing any 'labeled' gun runners out of country?
