Yet all the Trumpers cackling about Bud Light made a big fucking deal about how trannies were being pushed on them. The hypocrisy is ass-deep.

Tell you what... If they suddenly find that Guinness turns you gay, then I guess I'm just going to have to be gay... otherwise all this is just noise. What happened to Bud Light wasn't because of Dylan, though that did bring attention, it was because the VP basically just went on an interview to tell their customers that they were no longer wanted. Seriously. If you don't want me to drink the beer so much you just tell me so then I guess I'll buy some Negra Modelo and move on. (Of course, I never drank Bud Light either, that one is so terrible I usually won't drink more than one free one at a cookout just to be polite).

Anyway, I suggest that miss Marketing VP go back to her studies where she finds that if you are in Marketing and don't want to alienate your current customer base you don't tell them they aren't valued.

You should ask her. She was the one that informed us all that the brand needed to "evolve" past their current customer base because, you know, being the best selling beer was the same thing as "in decline" and they needed to change that...

Anyway, even the guy who barely got a D in Marketing 101 knows that you don't go on TV interviews to tell folks how much you want to "evolve" the brand past the current "frat boys" that made it the number one selling beer in America because the current customer base that made it the best selling beer may take your words to mean that you want to aim at a "better" customer... Well, I'm sure they hope Bud Light is doing well with that choice, but they know that Anheuser Busch does not value them, they will buy from someone else. Now, I get what you are saying... some folks got more upset than others, but their base were the "bros" of the world and they are prone to dramatic displays, sometimes even chest beating... what exactly do you expect from the "frat boys"?
